Adrienne Nims was born in Boulder, Colorado & grew up in New England. She started pounding out songs on the piano & singing at the top of her lungs right away! The day she got it she learned her first three notes & went straight to band & hasn't stopped playing since. She started playing in swing and jazz bands, a good 20-40 years younger than the regulars, and continued studying music with the flute dept head at U. Mass, Amherst, and sax Professor of U.
