My three sessions of classes with Celia Lawley have truly changed my life! I'd barely picked up a fiddle since I took a semester of lessons at the age of 19 but I'd always dreamed of playing well enough to enjoy it. In Celia's classes I learned to play while reading music, keep up with other jammers, and improvise. It was a huge challenge...so good for the brain! I discovered my love for western swing fiddle and am now working up songs with a western swing band! This is a hobby that will last a lifetime.

Hi Celia,

I have been playing fiddle for 4 years but I was frustrated by my inability to play with others. I took Celia's series of classes and learned about playing in different keys, improvising solos and conquering stagefright. Now I can jam with friends and I'm not afraid to perform on stage. The experience I gained made playing music a much more enjoyable experience. Celia is a fun and patient teacher with a vast knowledge of music. I highly recommend this class!
