Notes:
Instrumentation:
The Performance Academy is designed for fiddlers but people playing other
instruments may be invited to perform with the group as an accompanying voice. Special guest groups may be included as part of the show format.
Celia, a full time professional entertainer, acknowledges
that successful and gratifying performances are acheived through a process
of continued experience. This program is designed to groom you, the aspiring
fiddler for the stage. Whether you are 7 or 70 and whether you want to play
for church or the Grand Ol' Opry, this program is designed to help you share
your talent with your
community and beyond.
Shows:
Three shows per year will be scheduled, one per season.**
**The Performance Academy shows are free to the community but if the
show is for a profit entity, a donation to the non-profit Mr. Holland's Opus
Foundation is suggested. This organization provides musical instruments for
financially challenged school children.
